Unheard Of: The Art of a Living Legacy

My love for scent existed long before Unheard Of.

It was a language my mom, my siblings, and I all shared. We just loved perfume, cologne, and the way a scented candle could pull you in and shift the energy of a room. It wasn't a project or a hobby. It was just us. Scent had the power to change the mood of our home, evoking anything from a deep sense of calm to a magnetic beauty. We didn't just like it; we felt it.

In late 2014, my mom and I planned to finally start making our own candles during the Christmas holiday. I had already bought the kit and was so excited to begin. I imagined my sisters being part of it too. Creating together. Just for the joy of it. Making something beautiful as a family. But that October, everything changed when we lost my youngest sister. The dream for our own company had to wait while we held each other up and lived through that tough reality.

But life had other plans. My mom passed away in March of 2021 from breast cancer, and that’s when I knew I had to do this. To honor them both. That’s how Unheard Of  was born. It started as a way to create, to heal, to pour something real into the world. My mother always gave us the freedom to be ourselves. She raised us to be leaders, not followers. 

Unheard Of is for those who move differently, the ones who know what’s coming before the world catches up. The artists, the lovers, the visionaries who crave the best life has to offer. The ones who understand scent isn’t just something you smell, it’s something you feel. A memory, a mood, a moment.

We don’t rush or settle. Every candle is hand-poured, one at a time, in small batches. No mass production. No shortcuts. Just precision, intention, and the highest standards. Poured in Brooklyn using non-toxic coconut soy wax and clean fragrance oils. No fillers. Just quality that speaks.
